  Board members are selected during a meeting usually held around September the year prior to the upcoming season. This meeting date will be published in the local paper as well as on this site as soon as the date, time, and location are available. The meeting is open to the public. Anyone who is interested in attending the meeting, becoming, or nominating a board member is encouraged to attend the meeting. Nominees will then be selected during a vote that will take place at this meeting. After the votes are tallied the nominees who receive the most votes will be selected to the board. In the event of a tie, a run-off election will follow to determine the remaining board members. Once all the board members are selected, positions on the board will be assigned with a vote by the board members. You do not have to be present to be selected and assigned a position to the board, however, it is STRONGLY recommend that you be present. If you can not attend this meeting, you will not be nominated without your approval prior to the meeting.
